Harish Salve, the former Solicitor General of India and a distinguished legal luminary, recently celebrated his wedding to Trina in a lavish ceremony. This marks his third marriage, as he was previously married to Meenakshi and Caroline Brossard in 2020.
Salve and Meenakshi, his first wife, parted ways in June 2020 after a 38-year-long marriage. Together, they share two daughters named Sakshi and Saaniya.
The wedding ceremony was a star-studded affair, attended by close friends and family, including prominent figures like Nita Ambani, Lalit Modi, and Ujjwala Raut.
Harish Salve, a 68-year-old legal advocate who practices at the Supreme Court, is renowned for his involvement in high-profile cases, including that of Kulbhushan Jadhav. Jadhav had been sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of espionage, and Salve’s remarkable gesture of charging a mere ₹1 as legal fees for representing him earned widespread acclaim.

In 2015, Harish Salve undertook the defense of Salman Khan in the high-profile hit-and-run case of 2002, where Khan had initially been sentenced to five years in prison. Salve’s exceptional legal prowess played a pivotal role in Khan’s eventual acquittal of all charges, following the Bombay High Court’s ruling on December 10, 2015.

Harish Salve, one of India’s most eminent lawyers, embarked on his legal journey with an LL.B. from Nagpur University. His ascent in the legal realm saw him being designated as a senior advocate at the Delhi High Court in 1992, culminating in his appointment as the Solicitor General of India from November 1999 to November 2002.
